Playground of toxic stress is a book written from the raw hurt and first-hand accounts of enduring, surviving and healing from *childhood sexual abuse. This book is written by a survivor, for survivors who still have no way out of their painful pasts. But, unlike other books of the same subject, it is not just the authors story and their healing. I strive to help other survivors understand themselves, their feelings and help them delve into their long overdue residue of pain. Helping them deal with the issues on their own terms. This book highlights the important topics that are overlooked or completely missed in *CSA cases. All survivors struggle in every day adult life, but we have no explanation why. Also, with very little help from anyone, and feeling completely isolated. This book delves into subjects that no one speaks of, that are a direct result from growing up from an abusive background. *CSA is not just a subject on its own, but many subjects in their own right, from PTSD, Co-dependency, depression, toxic stress, suicidal tendencies that run deep into our adulthoods and no indication as to why we suffer and that the subjects are strongly linked. Included are chapters that explain the stress abuse has on our bodies, our relationships with ourselves, our abusers, why the abusers did what they did, possible personality disorders. I personally feel is a big asset to the peace of mind and healing to know the deepest issues our childhood trauma. *CSA is a multitude of tiny pieces that need putting back together to help the healing process, it is not just simple straight cut be free and healed. For 26 years I suffered being a victim long after the physical side effects had ceased, trapped in a cycle of further abuse to myself and other adult abusive relationships. I want to break the mould with Playground of toxic stress because I believe with my extensive research, knowledge, and personal experiences there are subjects covered in this book that no other books have covered before.
